UEFA – do as they say, not as they do

A quick mention for this article on ticket prices for the Champions League final courtesy of A Different League.

People have been warning that football will eat itself for a long time – sometimes I wish it would hurry up and chow down so we can start again from the beginning.

If UEFA had any morals left, they might consider abiding by their own guiding principles – of which there are eleven (clever) – listed on their website. And what’s number one? Something called ‘Football First’ – have a read of this:

“Football is a game before being a product, a sport before being a market, a show before being a business.”

Hello, anyone smell the whiff of hypocrisy wafting from that load of bollocks? £176 including a £26 admin fee; they really are shameless.
