Issue 2 of the Surreal Football ebook is out today. Two of the three people behind Surreal Football are Manchester United fans. I don’t know who the other one supports. I think it’s West Brom, but that doesn’t matter, because two of them support United, and United have a lot of fans, and a lot fans means a lot of customers, right?
With any luck you’re reading this because I’ve mentioned Manchester United (of Old Trafford, Manchester) enough times to get this article to pop up in a feed. I guess that’s marketing of sorts, which is ironic, because I’ve written a piece for this issue lamenting the increasingly corporate approach of modern football. What not buy a copy, read it, and call me a hypocrite.
Sir Alex himself is rumoured to be an avid reader, and Pep Guardiola often consults with the Editors on tactical dilemmas. Oh yeah, these guys are tactics experts. If you love tactics, you’ll LOVE surreal football.
There’s really not much more to say. It’s £4.12 – roughly the same price as a pint in a Central London pub. Is it more enjoyable? Well you don’t have to tolerate anyone else’s company while reading it, and that can only be a good thing. Go buy it from here, now.
This concludes today’s sales pitch. I hope you buy it, because I’m in it, and they’ve promised to pay us money if it sells, but as they explained to us yesterday, we have to sell the thing first…
P.s. If you happen to be reading this and you don’t support United, that’s ace – neither do I. Now buy the ebook please.
